Rochelle + Cory | Montana Engagement Session
I had never met Rochelle and Cory before. Rochelle reached out to me and really wanted to do an engagement session to celebrate their exciting time of life. Through the whole session, I could feel the special connection that both of them have, between laughing, smiling and snuggling. I also got to meet their dog and it was a blast!

"I met him at a party, and he and I became friends. When he found out how I was being treated, he gave me a safe place to stay. I don’t know where I would be now without his help. We became close friends and have been together ever since. Our first date was Valentine’s Day. We barely knew each other, but we were dying to hang out again. I contacted him, and said, “I know it’s Valentine’s Day, but I would really just like to hang out with you, and pretend it’s just a normal Tuesday. Wanna have anti-Valentine’s day together?” We hung out and got to know each other, took lots of photos, and he gave me a purple matchbox car he had found on the sidewalk on way to hang out with me. I still have it, and take it with me on important days for good luck."
His sense of humor drew me instantly. I love that he is so patient, calm, and that he doesn’t take life too seriously. Our relationship has worked so long because we always strive to making each year more adventurous. We are constantly trying to make the other laugh. And we have taken time in our relationship to focus on ourselves as well as each other."
"He proposed to me on Christmas at his parents’ house in front of his whole family. He was shaking, and told me he had one last gift to give me, and got down and asked. I almost passed out, and started crying, and said yes. He was so nervous he tried to put the ring on the wrong hand, which the whole family laughed about. It was simple, and special, and so unexpected. Best day of my life so far."
Favorite/Funny Moment :
"The whole session was funny. We kept whispering inside jokes to each other and our photographer kept us moving, and entertained. Our dog was so hyper the entire shoot, so we had an interesting time wrangling him in nonstop. The photo shoot was pretty hilarious and adorable overall."
"We want a slightly minimalist wedding (as far as decorations, dress, cake, etc) with lots of guests. He has a big family, so they’re all coming. Dark purple for the men, lilac for the ladies. Sunflowers for decor."
"It was amazing. I felt completely comfortable following your directions. Thank you for such a special day!"
